What we're passionate about
Small Batch, In-House Production
We design, draft, and ethically produce each garment entirely in our Toronto-based studio. Our designer touches on each aspect of the process, ensuring a holistic and thoughtful end garment.
Ease of Movement
Before we add a new piece to the collection, we wear-test each sample to ensure it can move and breathe alongside us. Each piece is designed to be worn all day, every day with comfort in mind.
Slow Fashion
Responsible design and sustainable in-house manufacturing help us keep our waste in check. We use a combination of small batch and made-to-order production to ensure we never over-produce our collections. Each garment is limited in quantity making it better for you, and the planet.
Sustainable Sourcing
We source our fabrics from various mills, using a combination of natural fibers, deadstock, and organic fabrics. We choose OEKO-tex-certified fabrics whenever possible, and all our organic fabrics are GOTS-certified. Each product page lists all available fabric information, as well as care instructions to help your garments last.
Our Story
Devlyn van Loon is an independent apparel line based in Toronto, Canada. Each garment is thoughtfully, sustainably, and ethically designed and produced with modernity, utilitarianism, and versatility in mind.
We believe that one of the most important facets of clothing is how it makes you feel. With this in mind, we use a holistic approach for each design and choose sustainable, natural fabrics to complement each style. Each design detail and silhouette has been carefully considered and streamlined during our design process to ensure continued longevity in the wearer’s closet. Each garment embodies a distillation of the core brand values of utilitarianism, comfort, and thoughtfulness.
Our pieces are carefully produced from start to finish in our Toronto-based studio by the designer and contractors who are paid a fair, living wage. With a respect for traditional craftsmanship, a modern approach to pattern-making, and a deep commitment to sustainability our pieces aim to bring a sense of comfort, ease, and pleasure to your every day.
